Need to Create a Site Booking System  en

We hold an annual swap meet and sellers book sites. We put a map showing the sites and they click on the one they want. This causes a message to be sent to us with the person's contact etc. The site map is changed to show it has been booked. I woulkd like to convert our website to X5 but don't know how to implement this.

I have attached a photo of the map that we show on out current website.

Your actual booking page is made in WordPress and it uses a WP-plugin SeatReg.

You can't (probably not) use WP-plugins in X5.

You have to look for something similar you could eventually integrate into X5 via a html-object.

Many thanks. I believe you are correct to say that the booking system they currently use is based on WordPress. But I don't have WordPress skills - only X5. Am I stuck with converting the whole site to WordPress? I don't see anything in the examples you listed that looks like it would do the job, and how could I tell if any would work with X5?

Thanks - I do appreciate the thoughtful advice. However, I can't find in any of those samples something like I'm looking for; most of them seem to be oriented towards a calendar-based booking system. Also, I can't over-emphasise my lack of technical skills. Almost a decade ago I bought X5 to avoid having to learn about things like "html objects" and "iframes" (whatever they are). Will keep looking, but may have to bite the bullet and invest in learning WordPress.
