Hi,
I found a topic here about using Website x5 V9 on a Mac.
One of our clients is asking if this is possible and how?
There is only one version of website X5 V9, and there seems to be other software thats needs to be installed to make it work on a Mac? Is that correct?
This clients wants me te create the layout and set up the shopping cart ( I work on a Windows computer ) then wants me turn over the project I created here and work on it on his Mac.
Is that possible? If yes no issues if I create it here on a windows PC? What is the software needed to work with the program on a Mac?

WebSite X5 was designed and built to operate on a Windows system, however, many of our users use it even on a Mac system thanks to applications such as VMWare or CrossOver.
It is recommended to test the demo version downloadable at http://www.websitex5.com/evolution before purchasing the full version.

The client already bought V9, has a Windows Computer too, but would prefer to use it on his Mac ( home computer ). I will let him know these options.

Oh, I almost forgot. Can you tell me, if I create the project ( layout, basic settings shopping cart ) on my windows pc, then turn it over to him and he wants to continue working on this windows created project, using Mac and these VMWare etc. will this conflict or are these programs VMWare just enabling windows envirment on Mac computers?
Hello Annie,
It should work if you export the project and then the client imports the .IWZIP file.
These programs create a virtual computer where you need to install windows inside the Mac Operating System and therefore it should work without problems.
