Problem:
When you choose a logo for your e-mail form in the advanced settings Website X5 Evolution 10 creates a file in images that looks something like this: 5f9oi20c1k03y1a56v4956nl01xu9ubf
Only without the right extension such as jpg gif png etc.Now when someone fills out your contact form no logo is showing in the mail but only a cross without a link.
Solution:
1: export website to disk
2:Rename in the images folder 5f9oi20c1k03y1a56v4956nl01xu9ubf to 5f9oi20c1k03y1a56v4956nl01xu9ubf.jpg or whatever extension you used.
3: locate the file x5settings.php in the res folder on your harddisk, open it with something like notepad++ or some other clean editor.
4: look inside the file for 5f9oi20c1k03y1a56v4956nl01xu9ubf and add the extension jpg or whatever extension you used.
5: save the file and upload the contensts of your websitefolder to your domain.
Note: 5f9oi20c1k03y1a56v4956nl01xu9ubf is just an example, it can be any name depending on the logo you choose.

I forgot two Important things:
Every time you change your website and export it to disk you have to change image file and x5settings.php again before uploading.
This also applies to website x5 Evolution 9

Since i use this software commercially i will not use the beta version. I have to be able to sell a complete working package without any bugs to my customers. Hope incomedia will integrate this fix in (hopefully soon to release) updates for Website x5 10. Until then i will manually edit this and any other issue i come across.

Tested it, image extension is still missing when exporting to disk.
But worse, the updates f*cked up my whole project.
So something went totally wrong here. Menu is horizontal instead of vertical.
Some strange picture in the header and the footer (including information) is almost completeley gone.
And i can't change it back.

Ok, to make a long story short. DO NOT install the updates at this time, first of all it does not fix the issue in this topic and second: see posts above.
If you already done so i hope you have back-ups from your project(s) made with v10.
Solution: I uninstalled website x5 10 and reinstalled with the original setup. Then I replaced the files made with the updated v10 with the project files from a back-up. It works fine now.

I tried the updates again, it seems the problems with messing up the project are solved but the e-mail logo issue is not!
I still have to manual edit the image and the file x5settings.php in the res folder.

I tested the function again and it was using the original file name istead of the alphanumeric string. Can you please try to uninstall the program and then delete the WebSite X5 folder in Program files and then download the installer from your profile on answers.websitex5.com and install it again?
