Please reboot your machine and then retry. I had the same problem.
Hi Kalpesh,
You could try the following:
Instead of trying to update from within X5, download the latest version (10.0.6.31) from the 'Download' link, located via the drop-down menu at the top-right of this screen entitled 'Profile'
Once you have downloaded it, reboot your machine to ensure no X5 processes are running, then run the .exe file
This will install the latest version over your old one, updating all files as necessary.
406: Could not write files: Website X5 .exe or .dll files is still in memory and the update cannot overwrite. The software could be open (user has more than one session to be open), or an antivirus or firewall to block the files.

Hi All,
Thanks for replying and helping me for updating the software.
As I have follow the procedure as per suggested by "Paul M." above. When I had started downloading it is only download 90 MB. After that I have run this file it showing the error that file is corrupted. So I open my mobile / cell phone and in that I browse the answer.websitex5.com and follow the same procedure which “Paul. M” suggested. In that it download full and completed file download of 333 MB approx. And then I transfer the .exe file from my mobile phone to laptop and done the updating. So now I am get the new updated file version of software. Thanks you all.
