How you suggest I present an idea of website to the client before I begin working on it?

I usally ask for a bussiness card.
Then I will try to find a few templates that go with the card (style / colour)
then present 1, 2 or maybe 3 to customer. (just make a small home page with some example text or pictures and then consult.
