When I opened the Website X5 Evolution 10 in my computer to finish a project, the program could not open the original project file with the following information: The magic number in GZip header is not correct. Make sure you are transmitting a GZip stream.
Also, the X5 Evolution 10 is showing the date and time of the file as 01/01/0001, 00:00.
What happened? I lost all the project ??? I'm working on this project for months !!!
In time: doesn't happened any problem on my computer, my system is Windows 7 Ultimate (original and duly registered at Microsoft). The Website X5 Evolution 10 program simply stopped to open the project file.
I need some guidance URGENT !!!

Thanks for your help! I followed your directions, but it did not work.
The Website X5 Evolution 10 continues reporting that "The magic number in GZip header is not correct. Make sure you are transmitting a GZip stream" and showing the date and time of the project as "01/01/0001, 00:00". Thus, the project stilldoes not open
Any other suggestions?
It should work, see: http://answers.websitex5.com/post/69238
Maybe there is an older backup you can use / rename ?
(to be save rename the original one first to samename_old.iwprj or something like that)
Did you copy the backup in the folder where the original file was ?

Well, nothing worked for me. I simply lost the project! I'm having to redo everything! Very disappointed with this problem. I lost totally the trust in this program.

Thanks anyway, Andre

Sorry to hear that.
There is a bright site in starting over, I have done this more than once and mostly you have better ideas and end up with a nicer site.
You can offcource use the data from the internet site so you do need to type over all text / pictures and other items, just copy them from internet in your project.
I know it's too late now, but keep a backup especially if you have made a lot of changes on a different media. (mem stick or sd card) use step 5 export project for that, this way you have a backup of your own and the program has one. These hings can happen to every program in a computer, that's very unfortunat, but this can happen to all software.
X5 has an internal backup way that most programs don't have, it has saved many users, unfortunatly not for you.
Hopefully it's not too much work.
Goodluck with rebuild.

Hello again, Andre
After much work, including many sleepless nights, I managed to redo the site and publish it. I still have a problem and already posted a topic about it.
Thanks again!
