Quand tu dis que tu as migré dans un nouveau répertoire local, veux-tu dire par là que tu charges ton projet directement depuis le nouveau répertoire (fichier IWPRJ du projet) à partir de la fenêtre "Choix du projet" en indiquant indiqué ce chemin à la rubrique "Préférences", ou as-tu bien exporté un fichier de sauvegarde IWZIP de la version 10 Pro, puis importé ce fichier ensuite sur la V11 ? (ce qui est la procédure normale de récupération d'un projet sur une nouvelle version).

J'ai converti plusieurs sites depuis les V9, V10 et V10 Pro sur la V11 sans vraiment avoir de souci particulier. Mon site photos, par exemple, contient plus de 2 000 photos et je n'ai eu qu'un fichier graphique de présentation d'une galerie à remettre en place. La conversion et la mise en ligne sous V11 ne m'a même pas demandé deux heures de boulot, nettoyage complet du serveur et exportation complète de la nouvelle mouture sous V11.

De nombreux copains, avec qui j'échange régulièrement des idées et des conseils sur l'utiisation du logiciel, sont aussi passés sous V11 sans avoir de problème particulier. Difficile donc de dire que cette version est inutilisable . Sinon il y aurait eu une révolte sur le forum vu le nombre d'utilisateurs de cette version..

Salut, Import: J'ai importé suivant la méthode standard. Le nouveau répertoire locale est celui défini dans les préférences du programme. J'ai également regardé le forum :-) J'ai acheté la version 11 pro à sa sortie et dès ce moment j'ai eu des problèmes -> le 1er étant le problème des thèmes (résolu depuis). Pour ce qui est des images, la galerie utilise le module standard. Je ne vois donc pas pourquoi la version 10 fonctionne et que des photos ou miniatures disparaissent dans la 11 (après import). De plus, on dirait que les erreurs d'affichage des photos dans les onglets sont aléatoires. Une fois on a le message d'erreur et si on repasse dessus on ne l'a plus.... -> ce problème a été soulevé dans le forum et je le constate également. Si tu as une idée... ou une piste.

Désolé de voir que tu as tous ces soucis qui me semblent bien anormaux... Etrange que les images "se baladent". En principe tout est dans le dossier "Library" du projet.

Essaie de refaire une exportation IWZIP de ton projet en V10, puis tu importes ce nouveau fichier sur la V11 en lieu et place du précédent. Une fois le projet ouvert tu tentes un CTRL-Aperçu (reconstruction du site, parfois un peu long) pour voir ce que ça donne.

Autre piste : tu supprimes le dossier "Preview" dans les dossiers du projet V11. Puis tu ouvres le projet et tu fais un Aperçu. Ce dossier se reconstruit. Et voir ce que ça donne.

Si ça coince toujours, nous nous retournerons vers le support pour avoir un avis technique sur ce qui t'arrive.

Je pense que le problème vient de la génération:

1) effacer dans projets v11 mon site (plus de preview)

2) Import du fichier iwzip de la version 10 pro

3) Lancer l'ouverture du site -> recréation des répertoires

Ci-joint une copie écran du répertoire où l'on peut voir que certaines photos ne sont pas re-créées correctement -> erreur du générateur.

Les onglets en mode création/modification:

Aller ds 1er onglet : on voit la photo

Aller dans 2ième onglet : on voit la photo

...

Dernier onglet -> pas de photo affichée (il devrait y en avoir une)

Retour 1er onglet -> plus de photo (magie...)

Dans l'apperçu, une fois on voit puis la fois suivante on ne voit plus...

It could depend on the size of the images or the number of images present in the gallery. It can be these are too big or it takes to long to create the thumbnails and then these are not correctly generated.

If there are more galleries with many images on the same page also this could influence it.

Try to close all program running in background and then try to open the preview with CTRL pressed so all images are again elaborated.

1) Gallery : 49 images 1600 * 1200

I try to open the preview with CTRL -> A lot of generation errors (PC I5 with 6GB memory). 

But it seems that the problem occurs only on this "big" Gallery (as you say in your answer).

Perhaps good to find a solution to this problem (or a work around)

2) And what about the "tabs" problem ?

Split in 2 Gallery (+-25 images) -> CTRL Preview -> no more error.

-> The problem is definitively linked to the size of the Gallery. Is it possible to solve this problem ? 

And now, the "tabs" seems OK (the text with tabs and the gallery are on the same page)
Is it possible that the gallery problem is linked to the text object problem ?

Hello Renard,

It could depend on this. I would suggest you to redoce more the images before using them in case you want to create a big gallery since the program needs to reduce them in any case, and if the project itself is big then the computer could not elaborate all. Using more objects with in each les content makes the program faster in elaborating the content to adapt it for the export.

You are right when you say that more objects will increase the speed of the program.

But in some cases it's impossible to split.

I have a page with a lot of text objects. Each text object contains a small icon with a shorcut to a pdf and a text which opens a showbox galery (16 to 23 jpg / 50K to 250K)
(list of revues which I had previously in one text box and which I have splited in one box by revue) 

-> each jpg = one page of the PDF

On my pc all the jpg are ok.

When I try to export the project to another PC (Intel Dual core with SSD) some jpg are missing (without or with the miniature).

In this situation, it's very difficult to split the ShowBox...

What can I do ? 

Moreover if you try to reduce the image resolution it's too difficult to read the page.

Hello Renard,

You can also add more links to showbox in every text object. It is important to not add too much but you can add minimum 5 every object or more.

About the export issue, what names do these images have? Do these contains blank spaces or special characters?

Are the images accessible or do they come from a shared folder or a external drive?

Name of the jpeg : B200902_6.jpg  (B+year+month+_ +page number).

Original jpg are stored on my NAS where I store the web site.
But if I correctly understand your program, he creates a copy of the imported images in the \files directory.
Moreover, when I see the project in preview mode with my original PC, I have no error.
The problem occurs only when I export the project to the other PC and when WebSiteX5 rebuilds the project in local.
Is it still a link to the jpg original folder ?

Hello Renard,

The program copies the images to the project folder but keeps also a reference to the original folder, so in case it is necessary it can take again the image from the oroginal folder. It could depend on the fact the image are on the NAS and not all are copied correctly. I would suggest to keep them on the computer and then add these from your computer and then once done you ca delete them since in this way the images will be correctly copied in the project folder and you will not experience this issue.

After a modification on the menu style, wx5 has rebuilt all the site and after this operation a lot of images have been again not correctly generated.

After a lot of research I have found that this problem is not linked to the location of the images but to the general parameter preference \ simultaneous treatments.

When I set this parameter to 2, all the images were correctly generated.
If I increase this value the problem appears.
It's probably a problem with the treatments in //.

What do you think ?

Hello Renard,

It could depend on the fact from the NAS the system cannot load more than 2 images in the same time without getting an error message.

You can also try to move the images to the desktop and then set the simultaneous transfer back to 10 to test if then the same happens.

If the images taken by the deskop with the setting set to 10 works then it depends on the limit to take them from the NAS.
