Problems with SAGE PAY

I have now upgraded to proffesional 11, so I have access to SAGEPAY, but when completing access it says STATE and PROVINCE must be entered, but im in the UK, it wont let me proceed without leaving them in, so when I tried to complete an order it says fault due to country, what can I do to get round this

remove those 2 from being mandatory field also make them hidden.

This was the first thing I tried, but see attached picture, with SAGEPAY it will not let you leave them out????

I have replied on this issue it it's not here so here goes again
i tried adding country but it still doesn't always wants state and province when country added it's still asks for state and province

Hello Simon,
these fields are required by SagePay to work correctly and you need to activate them otherwise it will show you this error.
You need to have state, province and country active because this are required fields by SagePay to accept the payment.

Yes I know this but the UK does not have a state or province, so can I not use sage pay in the UK ,
and state and province are mandatory, if uk does not have a state or province what do we do, how does the purchase go ahead

the state/province field needs to be present but you can set it as not mandatory. The country filed needs tobe present and is mandatory.
These are settings so required by SagePay and since the state/province field is not mandatory it can be left without filling it if there is not the option in the country.

YOU CAN NOT SET STATE/PROVINCE AS VISIBLE BUT NOT MANDATORY OTHERWISE system says you need mandatory for this type of payment
tried sending photo 4 times but system just throws me out, could not even log into answers last week to reply, this is so annoying as I can not talk to someone and meanwhile my site is losing customers, I am not about to promote your software when we cant even get this sorted
please please HELP very urgent
I also use SagePay Simon and unfortunately it is a requirement from them and not WebsiteX5.

These are required fields in the cart to be set as visible but they do not need to be set as mandatory so they, like in your case, can be left blank.
You need to set them only visible because they are required to be present.

Hi Chris not sure if you are in the UK but on my proffesional version of this software when I set as visible but not manadatory the system will not let me proceed it says that STATE AND PROVINCE OR MANDATORY(FLASHES UP A BANNER) SEE EARLIER jpg and wont let me proceed, I set to visible and amndatory it lets me procced, I have said this a few times,

Since the program is not allowing to not set them as mandatory it means these are required fields by SagePay and you need to have them otherwise every payment will be refused by SagePay.
They have this setting as mandatory and wants this field filled so you will need to use it. This depends only on SagePay and if the program would allow you to remove it SagePay would not accept then the payments since it is their rule to have this field.

Earlier on you said it's not mandatory and I didnt have to make it that now you are saying I do, why did you not tell me earlier this is crazy as the UK don't have a state of province, is it not your companies software, I will contact sage and come back to you this is stupid. I HAVE SPOKE TO SAGEPAY AND THIS IS WHAT IS GOING WRONG, THEY SAY THE ISSUE IS NOT WITH STATE OR PROVINCE BUT THE BILLING COUNTRY, THIS IS AN EMAIL FROM THEM, PLEASE PLEASE HELP

I already informed the developers about it.
In the meanwhile this can be changed in the program in step 1 by clicking the button after the choice of the contenrt language. It will open a new window where you need to select english and then search the ID "country_codes" and there change UK to GB and save.
The next time you export the project choose to make a full export and then with the payment it will be used GB instead of UK as country code.

We can close this for know as it seems to be sending data to SAGE, even though I have had no orders through there must be another reason
