Purchased website x5 prfessional 11 and it will not activate

I purchased the product 2 Feb 15 and received the activation codes. When I try to activate the licence the activation program just keeps on running. When I exit and start the program again, it does exactly the same thing, please advise.

Could it be that a firewall is blocking the connection ? (try temporarly without it to activate)
What operating software are you using ?

OS is windows 8.1 Pro. There is a firewall and wpold deactivate if I could remember how.

Have added the app to allowed connections through the firewall. Still no luck
Hi Murray!
Please try the following:
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. Clear also the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and then click on OK.
After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.5 and then click ok.
If you still have issues, please go through the offline activation process https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/post/25631 and give me the file (see point 5) I will then be able to give you your new unlock code.
