Dash (-) in the title and h1 tags on all pages

I found a answer in the forum for a early version of Website X5 10, but it's obvious changes were made for version 11. How can I remove the dash in both the TITLE tag and h1 heading?
EX: <title>Lake Erie fishing charter - </title> and
<h1 class="imHidden">Lake Erie fishing charter - </h1>
Another thing, is there a actual manual for this software? The help portion of the site only defines and details more what a command/function does, NOT how to actually perform a procedure.

Joe, go to https://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads your manual and your latest version of software is always there for download.
about the dash: probably you have copy paste pages and then rename them or something like that. in step2 (map creation) select your page then go to properties and look for extended page title and remove the dash over there.

The previous answer is incorrect. This dash remains in all the pages. I even created a new site, using one of the templates and creating one of my own and it was there in the title pages and on every other page with or without a extended page name.
There was no copy-pasting. It makes no difference if the extended page name box is check or not and if you have created a name or not (even using the default name i.e., page 1 or home), the dash is there.
I've done everything I could do to remove it. It's appears to be in the software coding. If anyone can remove it on version 11, I would like to know exactly how you do it. I tried to use a HTML editor and it's only temporary, reload the page and it's there again

Re-reading yor response Nulu Host (Anthony) I do not have a dash inserted. I'm familiar with step 2 (map creation). The dash is not inserted where it would show up in my Title Tag.
I created another test site, manually inserted text, NO copying or pasting. The dash is still there. There has to be a reason and I'm sure someone can give me a solution.
I tried a html editor, but was surprised that everytime the site or page is updated, changes reverted back to the original. What I don't understand is that the forums/Website X5 says to go in and change html with an editor after site is published, then I get a response that changes won't stay. Why even use a editor.
All this is very confusing to me. How can I remove something I don't want or make any changes remain without having to re-edit it constantly everytime the page/site is updated?

What I've been able to determine is that the dash in the TITLE tag is a title separator.
<!-- PageTitle --><!-- TitleSeparator --><!-- SiteTitle --> <title> - </title>
I found a earlier question that was answered from about a year ago by a member of the Incomedia staff. The method to remove the separator was used in Version 10 software. I tried it in Version 11 and will not work. Can anybody expand on this to help me lease?
Joe
I designed more than 10 websites with v.11 and not a single one of them has DASH inside their title. there is something inside your program.
try creating new project file, use one of the templates, do not add anything (only website address/domain) and go for publishing it inside your hard drive. after that open your one of the pages and look at the source to see WITHOUT you adding anything to the premade template does that DASH going to show up again!

Hi,
I have been using X5 since version 8, all the versions automatically insert dash to the title.

Why some and not others? Can a Incomedia tech answer that?
Hello Joe,
do you edit the hor.html and ver.html files in C:\Program Files\WebSite X5 v11 - Evolution\Templates\_Custom ?
Once you edit these files be remowing thedash then youneed to press CTRL while you open the preview and the dash will no longer be present.
It is automatically present in every project unless it has been modified by someone.
Many thanks!
