Where do I create a special directory for a mobile version of my site...

I am currently building a mobile version of my website to run along with the main site. I am looking for help in where I add it to the webspace? How do I create a sub domain? I am also looking for a code to design and add to the site so that users can automatically be added tot he correct version of the site.

just create a folder on your webhost , call it mobile or something like that.
create a new project or koy your original, or make one from scratch. then upload it to the mobile folder and use the custom code that's in the post a bove.

I am at a total loss here! I have created a new mobile site and it's ready to go.. How do I add this new folder that is to contain all my existing website? For some reason it is just not coming to me!!
Don't worry we will get there. You have now 2 projects, one of your standard website and one for a mobile, is that correct ?
creating a folder on your webhost is easy connect to your webhost in step 5 then goto the use the button on top to create a folder (create new folder) name it mobile or any other name you wish. upload your mobile project / website there.
Then add the code I mentionend in the above post link. set this code with the correct links (correct links to the mobile folder and standard folder) to your standard website not the mobile one. in step 4 statistics -? expert -> in the pulldown after opening the head tag.
upload you normal site to your normal folder.
I assume you have 2 projects for mobile and normal site and you want to use them as one, else I need more info about what you have and want.
