Modifying Photography 23 template

I'm making a photography web site using template Photography 23. I would like to modify the template as follows:
- Move the horizontal line in the header up and move the menu bar up too. My goal is to move the images closer to the top of the layout, so they aren't cut off at the bottom of the screen.
- Have the thumbnails not cover the picture captions.
I have attached an image that shows how I would like the page to appear.

Hello Jim,
After you have selected the template go to style and models and choose template structure and from there you will be able to save the images used in the parts of the template with the rightclick option of the mouse so you can edit them and then add these again back to have the layout you want.

When I go into Template Structure, right-click has no effect. If I left-click in one of the areas, the image file name changes accordingly, but I can't access that file. See the attached screen capture with notations.

you need to use the rightclick on the filename and there you will find the option to save the file like described here:
