Autor: Adam I.The detailed report is as follows:
21-Aug-15 4:51:11 PM [EXCEPTION] Item has already been added. I have also done the following procedure as suggested in other posts:
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. Clear also the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and then click on OK.
After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.5 and then click ok.
Help!!
Hello Adam,
There is a font installed on your computer called 'Adobe Caslon Pro' which is causing this crash.
Please try to uninstall (i.e. delete) this font from your system to verify if WebSite X5 then runs correctly.
Kind regards,
Paul

Okay, I've deleted Adobe Caslon Pro and re ran the program. Next error message displays similar but with Adobe Garramond.....
......then Bell Gothic
....it's going through my list of fonts, I don't want to delete them all?
Thanks
Adam
What version of Windows are you running, Adam?
Autor
Windows 10. It worked previously on Windows 7 but now it doesn't. Everytime I try to do anything on the program it just freezes and I have to force close it. It's strange because my father's version works fine on his Windows 10 computer.
Thanks
Adam
I thought that might be the case (i.e. Windows 10).
Did your father install WebSite X5 after having upgraded to Windows 10? I would personally be very interested to know the answer for future reference.
There have been a spate of issues identical to your own following upgrades to Windows 10.
I have a hunch that your own issue might disappear if you completely uninstall WebSite X5 and then reinstall (as if from scratch on your new Windows 10 installation).
Doing so eradicated the problems for this particular user:

Worth a try...
Keep us posted,

No we both already had it previously installed, mine on windows 7 and his on windows 8.1. The intersting thing is that on the upgrade from windows 8.1 to 10 on my father's computer, Website X5 doesn't appear in programs or All Apps but on mine it does and I am having a problem. It makes me wonder if during the windows upgrade process there may have been some file corruption/missing files.
I feel an uninstall/reinstall is also in order...hopefully I can find the disk! I will keep you posted either way though.
Thanks again Paul.

Thanks Adam... bear in mind that you can always download the latest version of the WebSite X5 setup file from the 'Download' section of your profile here on answers.websitex5.com - here is a direct link:

It's useful to know that your father was running Windows 8.1 and had no issues on upgrading to Windows 10. Perhaps over time we will see some sort of pattern emerging and understand better what is causing problems in isolated cases.
I would also be interested to learn if you ran Windows 7 on a 32-bit or 64-bit basis?

I've just tried to uninstall/reinstall the program as mentioned but unfortunately the problem still exists; same error report.
The more annoying part is that I saved my projects before uninstalling and now I can't import them because apparently they were created in a newer version...this is quite distressing as my website is used to sell my products and I need to reguarly update it without having to go to my father's to use his computer.
Both systems are 64-bit. I'm a bit stumped with why it works on one but not the other...
Thanks
Adam
I'm sorry to hear that, Adam. I can appreciate how frustrating that must be.
However, you will probably be able to open your projects if you use the updated setup file available at the link I posted earlier:
https://answers.websitex5.com/profile/downloads
The most recent version of WebSite X5 Evolution 10 is 10.1.12.57 - if you install from the original media (or any other older setup files) then you will experience errors in the way you describe.
Alternatively you can update the program using the built-in 'Check for updates' facility - just make sure you are running 10.1.12.57 before attempting to open your projects again.
I'll ask Incomedia to intervene at this point. Please continue to monitor this thread for a response from them in due course.
All I can suggest for the time being is to continue to remove any fonts which are causing crashes (you can reinstall them again later).
Your patience in the meantime is appreciated.
Hi Adam,
I ask you to try and just remove all of the fonts that are causing trouble, but just removed them and move them away in a way that they won't influence WebSite anymore.
Once that is done, report to us whether it is now working or not, because of course it is absurd that you have to delete every font you have in order to have it working, so it's just a test.
If you get another kind of error please attach screenshot here.
Hope I've been helpful
