After computer crash, when I reinstall, an older version of site keeps coming up. Have tried everything to get the up-to-date site into the software, but the old site keeps defaulting. I have even downloaded the online site and tried to import it into the software, but it does not work. What to do? www.keydeliverance.org

Hello Micah,
It's not possible to recreate a WebSite X5 project by importing downloaded files from the server.
You need an IWZIP file in order to import your project back into WebSite X5.
Unfortunately if you do not have a backup and did not store copies of previous IWZIP files for safe-keeping, then you will have to start from scratch.
What you can do is copy as many texts and images as possible from your existing site, and paste them into the various Text and Image Objects, etc. within WebSite X5, to speed up the process. You can also insert any downloaded media files into the Audio/Video Object.
Kind regards,
Paul

I do have a backup, but don't see how to recover it.

Also, where are the old files that are showing up on the software?
The instructions for restoring from a backup are detailed in this official FAQ:

The article references v10 but the procedure applies equally to version 11... simply substitute v10 for v11 in the file paths as appropriate
Also, where are the old files that are showing up on the software?
Apologies, but without personal knowledge of your project it is difficult to know what you are referring to. It could be that some old files are retained in your browser cache. Try clearing the cache using the tools in your browser menu.

Can anyone tell me the path to where the files that show up when I reinstall the software. I cannot find them on my computer? Are they on my local computer or some where on a server. They are not on my hosting computer?
