How can two people edit a website from remote locations.

I have an assistant helping me manage a website who lives in another City. We both will purchase seperate copies of the software. How do we do it? Can all project files be in a cloud location, and be updated to the ISP server?

I have often contemplated this question, and whilst I haven't tried, I believe if you used a common drop box account you could place all the website x5 files in the dropbox folder on your pc. They should update and synchronise via the cloud so that in time both PC's hold the same files.
Each of you should then be able to edit and update the site, but not simultaneously.
With the Website X5 licensing you are allowed 2 installs, one could be on each PC :-)
Hello Jim,
As long as both users are running exactly the same version of WebSite X5 (even down to version number!) then you will have no issues in exporting and importing an IWZIP file (Step 5) which you can store in a cloud location as you wish.
The WebSite X5 licence is per person, not per project, so unfortunately I must point out that this statement is not correct:
You are right in assuming that you would need to purchase separate copies of the software if it would be your assistant rather than yourself who was operating the software in the remote location.
Kind regards,
Paul
You learn something every day.

My apologies for this misleading statement.
It's absolutely fine, Esahc... no need to apologise... this is a fairly common misconception regarding the licence.
I only qualified it in case other readers took it as gospel...
But you offered it in good faith, I know... have a great day!
