Info on creating responsive website

I just got pro version 12. I took a site I created in 11 and converted it to ver 12. The conversion went fine. The issue is that the header looks fine on a regular desktop but when I make the web site smaller like on a phone the header disapears. I think I understand why but I would like some advise or a tutrial on how to create a header that looks good both way OR just what to do in general...

The header and footer content were removed on mobile devices to focus on the main content, a lot of users are annoyed with this and x5 are aware of that, my suggestion would be to create a header image with the details you want on it using paint.net, photoshop etc
