I need a restricted entry site with hundreds of preregistered guests.

Naturally, it would only be pactical to import the guest list, rather than type each one.

I DO NOT want the user to register or join... in fact they are not "members" at all, they are invited guests. The goal is to provide each guest an id, via printed invitation. Preferably, no other information should be required.  The specification is to validate the invitation id. Once validated, allow entry and log the visit (record invitation-id and date-time).

Hi Frank.

Unfortunately, the software doesn't allow importing of the users through an external source, so you're forced to insert them manually.

Alternatively, if you're used to Databases, you can configure your online dabatase and import the users directly there after letting the software generate the user table setting the "Automatic Registration", and then downloading from the Database through the software the list of users. You can then just hide the registration module so that users cannot registrare themselves.

This can be a little tricky, so my suggestion is actually to insert them manually anyway.

Hope I've been helpful

That seems incredible.

The list must exist somewhere. Is there an XML file or such that I can create or modify that would have the same effect?

There must be some way to do this...

...Help a loyal customer; to suggest inserting them manually is a not helpful or practical.

Please simply explain the existing list system; its location and structure.

Hi Frank.

Unfortunately, as of now, the only ways to get your pre existing list of users inside the software is either using the way of importing the data into a database and connecting it to the software, or through manually inserting them into the software.

There is really no alternative to currently achieve this in another way.

Hi Frank.

The automatic registration is available in the Pro version only as of now, which is the only version that makes full use of Databases.

Also, the procedure to get the Users inside your software through the Database would require assistance that is not implied in the Software assistance, as it makes use of code and programming knowledge regarding Databases specifically.

As of now, importing manually is still the only choice to get the work done like this.
