There is no choices for the text alignment for my front page when I used "Description" field in the "file or URL" of "insert link" to copy the text from my word file. Only got alignment center which looked ugly. I need alignment left. Pls help.

If youimport the textviaNotepad,thenas a pureASCII text,it can bedesignedinWebsitex5.
If you copydirectly from Word, excel, etc.text, soinvisibleformattingwithcopies, whichpreventthe formattingwith the editorinWX5.

Hi, JJ. I have tried both with different ways. Did not work. There is no difference. Still got alignment center. Pls help to get alignment left.
Hello Anhua D,
Can you please send me a screenshot of which option you mean?
Many thanks!

Yes here is one.

Here is another one, on the same front page.
Hello Anhua,
Go to Step 1 General Settings > Template Style > Tooltip on mouse over > Text... and set the 'Alignment' dropdown menu to 1-Left (please see the screenshot attached).
Kind regards,
Paul

Thanks, welldone. But when I click the item( "læs mere") it comes a total blank window without any text. How to make the text visible, espeially on Ipad and mobile?
Please hold down the 'CTRL' key whilst entering the Preview mode in WebSite X5. Allow the preview to build to completion, then upload your project files afresh to the server.
Clear your browser cache and test.
If the issue persists, please post a link to the web page in question.
Many thanks!

Sorry, tried, but not work. Pls tell me in details how to do.
By the way, I do not have the text in the web pages.
Hello Anhua D.,
Can you please write me the link to the page where you experience this issue to see on what it depends?
Many thanks!

I am making a new home page now, which is not uploaded to the internet yet. It happens when I click the item which is in the front page during the preview.

Here is the screenshot. Pls take a look.
The behaviour you describe in your screenshot is correct... there is no error.
When you 'mouse over' WebSite X5 will show the 'Description' set on the 'Link' properties.
When you 'click' WebSite X5 will perform the 'Action' set on the 'Link' properties.
These are two different attributes, they are not one and the same.
If you want the same text to be displayed onclick as onmouseover then I suggest you use the 'File or URL with ShowBox' action, and point to a text file on your PC using the 'Local File on PC' option.

I tried as you said. I was asked to save the file when I click the item to check. I did it. But it was still blank page without text. Tried again, and point the saved file to "File or URL with ShowBox". But I was asked to repeat the same again. Not work.
I tested again and it worked correctly as per my instructions. I am not sure how to advise you further, Anhua, my apologies.
