i have a directory set with the correct permissions, why doesn't the guest book and blog write to the file.

I have the (email form) data set to send to a data file.  there is a line that needds a script, where do I get one?

The one for the blog is also set to send to a data file (not database), and I have the directory set and permissions set to 755 but when someone adds a comment it doesn't write the info to a file.

Scott,

You need to set the permission for the blog to 777.

The email scripts are all inside x5, you can set some scripts in step4 datamanagement.

Check also the test online in your admin panel, thats /admin behind the root of you website, the login is found in x5 step4, acces management.

Best Regards,

Hello Scott,

About the email form the option to send to a file requires a custom file made by you which will handle the data from the email form once sent.

Many thanks!
