Are there any restrictions on video size (mp4) when using this as background?

Probably less than the weight of the video better. Restrictions are possible from the host or users' browsers.

It has now been 48 hours since I posted this, but still no support from X5.

There are no limitations on the size but it is better to use small video files since it would take too long to load them online for the visitors to see them.
