After building most of a new website I find the Save option does not work!!! This is disgusting and this bug ridden program should have NOT been released.

. . . did you *tick* the backup configuration to do that ? I did not have any problem up to now.

it probably autosaved when you exported it, i wondered this too when i exported mine not that long ago BUT when i went back to the start of the program it asked me if i wanted to save or i would lose what i'd changed which i think is very odd.

When I went back into X5 V9 and tried to reopen the website it was not there?

How do I claim my payment back???

Good morning!

I'm sorry you have had problems! Evo 9 does save your projects, you can also set the automatic saving as soon as you open the program. Open the ''preferences'' option (at the bottom of the left coloumn) where you can select ''save at every preview'', ''create a backup copy every time you save'' or ''create a backup copy every time you upload''.

If you do not wish to activate these options, you can simply click on the ''save'' option in the top right corner of the program.

Futhermore, please check where you save the project. You can select the file in ''preferences'' - ''project folder''.

I also encounter problem when saving my files to disk. Most of the times the program hangs and I have to do a 'control-alt-delete' action and restart Evolution9.

I also have this image-disappearing problem (when using 'horizontal gallery' and choosing different number of miniatures).

Indeed two major bugs that should have been discovered before releasing the product.

Other than this, great editor.

Shortly an update will be released, all the saving features have now been solved.

Could you please describe more clearly the second problem regarding the horizontal gallery and attach a screenshot if possible?

When I use the miniature-option in the 'horizontal gallery' and change the number of miniatures from 5 to let's say more than 5 (I think I changed it to 10) and then save my site to disc, a number of (random) images disappear, the thumb nails are there, but the actual image shows 'error generating image'. The problem was already mentioned elsewhere on this forum. The problem doesn´t occur when I use the classical gallery. Sorry, can't send you a screenprint, as I've changed my gallery to the classical one.

I've encountered two more problems with E9 btw...

- I can't access my admin-folder online (it is on the server though)

- The captcha is not shown, it shows attached image with the name info_48.png. And I can't even find that file on my server.

I don't know if this is the right place to mention these problems, but since I'm here now ;-)...

Please read the instructions and download it to test the program and see if you still have the same problems.They should be solved now.

Please remember to create a backup copy of your project before you open it with the Beta.
