dear Sir

Help I can't longer receive e-mails sent from my website's e-mail form? I use X5-V12 and my home page is "sommerhus.me"  My site is on one.com. Before, it worked. Does anyone have the same problem now? What to do next??

Knud, if you have made no changes to your site and/or not uploaded it recently, have you contacted one.com? They should be able to fix or at least tell you what is wrong with your form. I suspect it is not a V12 problem.

I have the same problems since the last update from X5. Do you use a email adresse with the same domainname?

Huveneers, have you contacted your host to make sure it is not a change implemented at their end causing the issue. My site has not been affected by any recent updates.

Huveneers, Yes I use a email with my domainname in front of xxx()gmail.com is that a problem??

I have also tried another email without a dommain name. It does not work either. Yes, of course I contact one.com but I have not heard anything for 2 days yet.

It seems that now only a email adresse with the domain names works:

domain:  www.example.com

email: *** of  ***

I don't know where the problem is. Incomedia of one.com?

Here is one.com respons.

>I just looked at your case and would have trouble debugging on this since they are a contact form >I do not know about unfortunately. But have you always used the email address called >sommerhus.me(a)gmail.com for your contact form?

>For pure curiosity, have you also looked into your Spam folder on your Gmail account to make >sure it's not there? The other two domains you have use the same shape, so it might indicate that >it is the one who is drilling.

>To investigate this, please feel free to send me a few screenshots from X5 and I'll try to look into >it.

>If there are any additional questions, please contact us again either by email or via our chat.

>Yours sincerely

>Tommy

Change the email adresse in your website and test it. You have to forward your email to gmail (in one.com)

Knud, can we assume you are now using a domain email address (eg yourname at yourdomain.com)? If so there should be no issue with forms or confirmation emails.

Down here (Aust) we have had this issue for years as Internet Service Providers attempt to stop spam and email address spoofing by verifying email addresses against the domain mail server name.

I would also never forward emails from your domain to gmail, this will eventually cause you grief. Instead, create a mailbox for each user on your domain, and have gmail retrieve and delete the email via pop3 automatically.
