There are no pictures in the shop in V14 for android 6.
in v13 it worked good: http://andreweb.nl/x5_testv13/shop.php
in v14 not: http://andreweb.nl/v14_test/shop.php
on pc everything looks good in all viewports.
tested also a brand new project for v14, no pictures on android 6. ( 1 home page with 1 shop icon with picture)
Am I the only one? Or has nobody noticed this ( I can't imagine)

OK on Android 8.1 thru chrome browser.
Android 5.1.1 using samsung browser, no pics, but using chrome on same phone the pics are included.
Seems like a browser issue (wx5 too advanced?)??

THX Esahc,
Still, these are most common used phones, I tested yesterday with 4 different phones and android versions also with different browsers (probably not chrome), all no pictures. This is not good.
Also my PAD (older android, I think v4 or 5) no pictures.
Agreed Andre, I was not aware of this issue because I use chrome, but I suspect customers for the webshops I have written probably use the default browser, so this is a major issue that Incomedia should address.
Hello Andre,
Usually stock browser are never updated to correct the issues or to add the support to new functionalities and this seems to be in this case the issue. You need as first to check if the stock browser has updates from the manufacturer and in case install them.
Many thanks!
Claudio, this time I think it is an issue. Mobiles and tablets of less than 3 years old should be able to render WX5 websites, just as PC's can for older browsers. It worked perfectly in V13, could Incomedia explain what changed?
PS All my devices are as up to date as possible, and I am in no position to demand every potential customer first install chrome.
Have any developers at least tested Andre's findings?

@ Claudio D,
This looks like the same problem.
@ Incomedia/Claudio,
I understand that there will always be version differinces. But Android v6 is by far the most used software at the moment: https://developer.android.com/about/dashboards/index.html
And, like Esahc say's, i can't force that many people to higher version or different browsers.
As already mentionend I tested with several people with smart phones they have (standard), and it failed 100% (4 people test)
This can't be, I agree if we are talking about 1 or 2 or maybe 5 %, i can say okey, you need to update.
But android 6, with standard browser of samsung failing is not something to dismiss as too old software.
Please check this with development and try to correct it from x5, it affects way to many users.
Thanks.
Hello Andre,
The stock browser has been phased out also by google and has been replaced with Chrome. Some manufacturers adds a stock browser version which is not updated and doesn't support many functionalities. Since samsung or any other manufacturer is not updating the stock browser by correcting bugs or adding the support to the new web functionalities and standards it is not possible to solve it. It is important to use a browser able to make use of the current technology and to be updated and this is not happening with a stock browser and it's why also google replaced it with chrome, since this one get regularly updated to solve the issues in it.
The product list object has been completely updated and it uses the new web standards and an old browser which hasn't received any updates in years is not able to support them and it is also not safe to use.
Many thanks!
Hello Claudio
I am glad to see that our software ( ver. 14 ) is using the newest functionalities and standards. I am sorry that Microsoft does apparently not do this in their latest browser version Edge, and Chrome does not in their mobile - why I believe this ?
Because sites made with ver 14 looks like s... when viewed in Edge and Chrome mobile. ( also not perfect in Firefox )
I have reported it here : https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/pl/post/184337
Others that does not use X5 have it to function - hope you have too.
I know this is a bit off topic - and then not - it IS about the browser, and we must demand that our creations made with X5 software. functions in the most common browsers. I accept it does not function in IE.
Kind regards
John S.

ok Claudio,
No problem I have checked my android version and it is the latest v6.
The samsung explorer was not up to date, after updating the website view was as it should be.
Pherhaps I will place a an extra text on the site that if pictures do not show up correct to update browser. But I need to think about that one, cause it is not very user friendly.
