I have used WebsiteX5 Evolution since V9 and upgraded it each year. Right now I use V13 and it works fine. When the latest version 14 came, I tried to make the upgrade. There were, however, far to many errors in the upgraded version, so I tried to find a solution here but I stuck to my Version 13 until now.

Now i tested the latest update 14.0.5.3, without replacing the V13 version on the web, and got stuck with two major problems, which do not appear in version 13:

Each time I run the WebsiteX5 application after installing it, I get this mesage:
”An error occurred while running the program. Please reinstall the program”,
and I have to install it again. It does not matter if I install it logged in as an administrator or as an ordinary user entering the administrators code when I start the installation process.

I frequently use HTML code objects in page layout tables. One common object type is a link to a .mp3-file on the site, like:
<a href="http:// … /161105_UbiCaritas_Slutet.mp3">Ubi Caritas</a>
Those links work perfectly well in V13. In V14, however, they open the local folder containing the iwzip file used when converting the application from V13 to V14!

These problems make it impossible for me to upgrade my application to V14. I have not done any further tests.
