Suggestion: Create an object to "upload". Personalized product website. You need a way for the customer to be able to upload a photo that he wants imprinted on an item.
Maybe the option to send an email with attachment for ;photo

I believe this is indeed already possible.
By making use of the Contact Form Object, you can add the Attachment field, which allows the user to attach a file to his email.
This way, you could get the image you need to imprint delivered to you. Have you tried checking there?
