Template Header Not Displaying

Hopefully someone can help me out here. New to website x5 and i'm having a bit of an issue with getting websites to display the template header. When i click on preview none of the template header shows.
I'll take a wild guess that it will be a ie9 issue but i have put ie9 in to compatability mode and this has still not sorted the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see you have version number 9.0.0.1654, that could be a problem! Please update you version and let me know if you still have the same issue.
Futhermore, what version of IE are you using? You have to use at least IE7 and your flash version has to be up to date. Please check!

Thanks for the response. I am currently using ie9 version 9.0.8112.16421. When i click check for updates the software is telling me that i am using the latest version. I have noticed that the problem is not just confined to ie9. When i save the site to preview the problem exists on every browser i have tried.
Please try to delete your program from your computer and install it again as administrator and let me know if you still have the same issue.
