Hi Guys,
I want to add a bulleted list on my website page but I am using a dark background so I am using a text font of light gray #E8E8E8 but the bullets come out black even though the are in text that is light grey.
I have checked out similar questions and found that the solution appears to be to insert inline html code and then Enable HTML code in the text object.
I have tried this but I am not an HTML programmer and so do not know where to insert the HTML code in my text object as displayed in teh text editor.
Could someone help me please as the default black text is no use on a dark blue background.
Also can somebody tell me how to change the default bullet style please.
Many thanks.

Hello,
In my WSX5 demo website, here https://wsx5.afsoftware.fr/viewforum.php?f=111 you have many codes and tips to improve your project.
And the bullets subject is intended.
Also you can download the project to analyze the code.
Hope this helps

(It > En) ... to get all the dots on the page in gray, it might be enough to paste this string:
<style> * ul li {color: silver !important;} </style>
... or: <style> * ul li {color: #E8E8E8 !important;} </style>
... paste the code here:
>> Step 3 - Map > The Page Properties window | The Expert section | ▪Custom Code: -▼Before closing the HEAD

Hello KolAsim,

... no! ... you used the Text Object, or the HTML Code Object ...? ...
... in the second case it might be possible ...
... but I can't try because I don't have the program ...
... in any case the color is in contrast ...

Hi Guys,
Many thanks for your help BUT you must understand that the reason that I bought Website X5 Professional is because I am NOT an HTML programmer so do not really understand where the HTML code needs to be inserted etc. or indeed where to find the Properties and Expert tabs before I saw KolAsim's response, thanks for that!
However, I have now copied and pasted the KolAsims HTML code as instructed as I wanted all text and numbering in #E8E8E8 colour anyway, so thought that this offered a simple solution. It has made no difeference as the numbering is still in black!
Why is it not possible to change the colour of the bullets and numbering as easily as we can change the colour for the text in the editor?
Thanks
Ian
... in order to evaluate I should see the link of your page where you applied the code ...
ciao
KolAsim,
page properties or html object or html style into text object : for the 3 solutions everything is in grey (text + bullets)

... sorry, currently I can't try because I don't have the program ...
... I believe what you say ...
... but I also think that having the text formatted in it, the code should not affect this ...
... I will try further, and thank you for having informed ...

Just a comment - this is a long and festering sore. Seems to me such a simple request could have been dealt with sometime over the past 8 years.

In case you are not aware Ian, the bullets are set to the default colour of the text for the whole website (but most people only want the change on a specific page or in a specific cell)
