Hans, after CTRL+Preview in WX5 have you done a FULL upload to your host or just a new and updated - OR - is this an issue local to your PC?

If it is local on your PC, can I suggest downloading the full install from your profile (top right this page) and re-installing WX5??

Hi. Thanks for the help. I have purchased two complete templates and everything is annoying but ending with I get the message "Resources / main.js" and I cannot use the template. Wx5 Evolution is newly purchased and properly installed. Please Hasse

This issue can usually be caused by some faulty files in the AppData folder.

Try proceeding this way:

1_ Uninstall the software

2_ Navigate to : C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Incomedia 

3_ Delete the folder relative to the version you want to reinstall

4_ Reinstall the software

Try then and let me know if it works then

Hi Stefano. I've done as you suggested but it doesn't work. In the AppData folder there are no Incomedia. Just a folder called "xjadeo". Grateful for answers. Please Hasse

Hello again. I uninstalled my WebSite x5 Evolution (updated) and instead installed my WebSite x5 evolution version 17 and then everything worked. / Hasse

Now that it works, I do not dare to upgrade to 2019.5, which is suggested when I start WebSite v17 Evolution, because I'm afraid it will no longer work. As it did when I last upgraded. I would like to upgrade. But as I said. I don't dare now when everything works. Please Hasse.

Download and install v2019, if this wipes out v17 please download v17 again (Incomedia think this is good practise :-) and reinstall (this will give you BOTH versions to play with). When v2019 upgrades your project ensure you let it create a copy for continued use in v17.

The removal of the folder in appdata should not be necessary now, but if problems persist in v2019 please advise. I guarantee the folder C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Incomedia\Website X5 - Evolution exists!! (this is the default folder for WX5 2019 evo)

When you reinstalled v17 it created C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Incomedia\Website X5 v17 - Evolution (please don't delete this if v17 is working)
