I have the same problem as described above. I first downloaded the free demo version, which worked fine. So yesterday I placed an order on the full version WebSite X5 Evolution 9.

I downloaded the installation file after receiving your e-mail with the license key. Ran the installation, and came to the point where I was promptet for the license key. Then, all of a sudden this message came up while I was entering the key: "An error occured while running the program. Please reinstall the program."

Thereafter the same message comes up every time I reinstall.

My PC is an Acer laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

I include a copy of the error message.

I discovered something that might be of interrest

I tried to manually run the imRegister.exe file, and a dialog box occured. I clicked on "details", and this long message appeared. To me it is cryptic, but maybe it can shed some light over this problem by your technicians?

When you are activating JIT-feilsøking (Just In Time), the .config-file for this program or computer (machine.config)  must have the jitDebugging-value entered in the paragraph system.windows.forms. The program must also be compiled with error search activated.

For example:

<configuration>     <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" /> </configuration>

When JIT-error search is activated, all unhandled exceptions will be sent to the JIT-error search registered on this computer, in stead of beeing handled by this dialogboxs.

Hello again! I have checked it now, and it seemed version 3.5 would not install. Maybe because v. 4 was allready installed? Anyway, I reinstalled v. 4, and some extentions that had not been there before appeared.

Before re-installing WebsiteX5 Evolution 9, I deleted the folder "WebsiteX5 - Evolution 9" under "Programfiles(x86)" (which was not empty).

I also restarted the PC before I started installation again. Now the installation was successful, and the program works fine!
