Template gets written over with old images

Hello,
I purchased the HOPE Church Template and did my best to customize it. I went into the W5 content management and was unable to find some of the resources so I replaced them in the backend, writing over the old files with new ones.
This worked for a day, but then the old files began to overwrite the ones that I replace them with.
I am at a loss as to what to do. I would love to use the tool, but I can't. When I get what I want, it gets overwirtten.
Any support is appreciated!

It's a bad idea to change things from the backend because it is often used in many way's from or for several sources.
So it's netter to find the items in x5 and replace them there.
Most frequent question to find content in teplates comes from the row format settings.
Go to the page where you would like to change something, press the row formats button on top, then find the items in the corresponding row and change it there.
Do a full upload after that and all should be well.
If you can'tt find something then place here the website url and point out what you are looking for, if it is not online make a screenshot.

The Website is amsterdamswelvaren.org. All of the images that are in the background have the problem that i mentioned. They are overwritten. Please tell me where I can find these background images in the system. I have looked and I have not been able to find them.

I searched down where the images are stored. There is one last one that I cannot find. Could you please let me know where the floating logo can be changed?

you will find the books image on Step 4 (Home Page), in the Row Formats, line 14. The file's name is pixabay-2596809.jpg
As to the Hope Church logo, please find in on Step 2> Sticky Bar > Contents
