Hello David,
In the first instance check that you have PHP correctly installed on your web server. You need a minimum of PHP version 5.6 in order for WebSite X5 to function properly.

php verison is 72.7 on server
correct info stored this fault started when I used this version of x5 on 2nd computor instead of using my laptop earlier version of x5

If the error you're getting is exactly the one mentioning this:
syntax error unexpected [public_html/res/class.phpmailer.php on line 304]
Then I can confirm that the PHP version is to blame.
Most surely the PHP version running on the server is not really the 7.2 but a much lower one.
Please try and contact your hosting support and mention this issue to them. They should be able to make sure that everything runs correctly for you
