I have a text object and with it I have a link configured on some of the text.  The link is set with an action to open a URL on the Internet.  When I upload the site, the text with the link is highlighted with a different colour but it does nothing.

Hello. Give a link to the page of the site’s site with your problem. Attach a screenshot of the link settings.

Here is the page with the example:  http://tserkva.sjucc.ca/fashion-show.html

As you can see, the order ticket link does not work. Here the configuration:

Please note that this site was converted from X5 Evoution 13 to X5 2019.2.7 and that is when I noticed the links do not work.

The old site with the working link is still up and functional:  https://www.sjucc.ca/fashion-show.html

Hello Jon,

The problem is with the header...  specifically with the container for the header image which reads 'St Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church'.

Although the image itself is not obscuring your hyperlink, the container certainly is, so you should adjust the header properties to suit.

Here is a link to the relevant section of the help file:

https://help.websitex5.com/en/v2019.2/pro/index.html?modello_modifica.htm

You need to tweak the header so that any objects which you include on it do not project into space reserved for the page contents.  Alternatively you can use the 'Send to back' command referred to in the help file to push any header contents to the background, which will ensure that your hyperlink will stay in the forefront.  This in turn will give it focus and make it 'clickable'.

Kind regards,

Paul

Look for the portion of your header which contains the graphic, similar to the Aid Insurance logo above.  The box surrounding the image can be manipulated and made larger or smaller by dragging with your mouse.  Make sure the box is not overly deep!

(It > En) ... follow the instructions correctly anticipated by Paul+,
... or directly use this code to insert in the Expert section | / HEAD:
<style> #imHeader_imObjectImage_02_wrapper { height: 90px !important; } </style>

.

ciao
