PREV and NEXT links in a text box  en

I created text links inside a text object a la:

< PREVNEXT >

The idea is to allow left and right navigation between pages on the same level. I am ok with doing this manually as the site does not have very many such pages, and I would only add new ones manually over time.

The text object is on the right top of the page (another text object containing the bread crumbs / path, is to the left, and a gallery object at the bottom as the main content). Interestingly, for the bread crumb text object, the text links work fine.

However, either the links do not do anything, or I have to hover over the underline in order to show the all of the link text in "active" color and to have the link clickable. When clicking the word "NEXT", nothing happens (the active color is not shown either). No difference between preview and uploaded webpages. Also not any better if I switch from Firefox to IE11.

I hope you can observe the behavior on my website.

Any suggestions?

Try to temporarily remove all third-party code from the site (if you added it), including sharing buttons.

Hello Lars,

The problem is the size of the main menu.  It is too deep and is overlapping and encroaching on the clickable area of your links.  Although it appears at first glance that it does not have the same effect on the breadcrumb path, on close inspection it can be seen that it does obscure part of the text to the extreme right.

You can reduce the depth of the menu in Step 2 Template Settings > Template Content.  Drag the handle on the menu container upwards...  see the red highlighting in the screenshot below:

Kind regards,

Paul

@ Lars - just my non-related observance: the site's logo looks very blurry (it's OK if this is just the DEMO site).

Try increasing the original logo size or use less compression.

I was (still am) a long-time logo designer - so it's in "my blood" to notice those things. cool

Cheers!

(It > En) ... as Paul  anticipated, ... the problem is only with the resolution higher than the 999px breakpoint ...

ciao

Those fungus pictures really make me want to LEAVE your website at ONCE!

What are you thinking?

@Paul That was right on the money! I increased the header area height so that the menu now resides fully within the header area.

@Sinisa I am guessing you are referring to the two B&W header icons (the thumbnails and images do not looke blurry to me)? I will try to upload them at larger size. My intent was to upload them at needed (1:1) size, but it looks like the application is resizing them, causing blurriness.

Thanks, everyone. Very quick and helpful response for a frustrated X5er!
