Import an HTML website to a Website X5 project

Hi Folks,
A school I support has problems with their website X5 project. This is what I believe happened:
1. The option "Export the Website to Disk" was selected and the HTML files folder was saved to the desktop.
2. Somehow the website X5 project was corrupted or deleted and the error attached appears when it is selected in Website X5.
Question:
Is it possible to import to Website X5 the output from the previous "Export the Website to Disk" folder to recreate a website X5 project ?

No it's not, sorry.

Else you need to start over again, you can use the data that is on the disk, like text and picture but you need to copy them in a new project
Just as a matter of passing interest, is there any chance there are backups available within the project folder under backup?

Many Thanks. I looked for any backups including "trash" but unfortunately there are none. I do not normally support this school but they found out I do it for other schools.
For the schools I support I have two project back ups on two different external drives - I have seen the pain no back ups can cause

Jonathan, hopefully those backups are in the form of iwzip files (step 5, export project).
