Since I installed the catalog viewer the simple PDF viewer doesn’t work. I have uninstalled both and reinstalled the viewer; all I get is no preview is available. The file changes each month as it is a newsletter; it is present in the folder and can be accessed outside of this software. I wish to go back to the viewer and forget the catalog viewer.

Try to use a different type in the pdf viewer. remember sometimes the preview does not work, use ctrl key with preview button to refresh the preview, test online as well!
And if needed, you can deinstall any extra object, just go to any page (step4) hit the manage button top right, select your object and press uninstall.
Hope this helps....

This did not help. All that displays is the message "No Preview Available". We use this object to make available to members of our group as well as others the monthly newsletter. Everything worked fine until I tried the catalog viewer which we decided the included viewer did a better job. Now all we get to work is the catalog viewer.
Strange, do you have a website adres where the pdf should be available?
Does it work online? Have you tryed the other way of viewing in the pdf object (toggle google viewer or iframe)

Right now the website is using the catalog viewer and I want to use the regular viewer instead. I get the message in preview mode and on the site on a blank page. The site is epkofc.org. Our newsletter doesn't have enough pages to really make full use of the catalog viewer.
ok, i can see the catalog viewer, what happens if you deinstall the both and then reinstall the normal viewer?
Can you make a test page / folder (you can set it hidden in your menu and place the link here). With the pdf viewer let's say a page with a small pdf and then make 2 objects with the normal pdf viewer (one google 1 iframe) so we can see the page when it's not working?

Sorry for the delay in responding. Not sure why but it is working now, so my philosophy is "don't fix what works". Thanks for your help and hopefully it will keep working.
