How can I use kg instead of quantity when adding products

In step 1 in the advanced TAB -> shopping card.
set in your product settings, the third TAB Option, and select there weight.
I never used it so run a few tests to see if this is what you search for.

Do not mix different weights in one project!
If you use kg - use it even on the lightest products (i.e. 0.03 kg, 0.156 kg).
If you use g (gram) - use it for ALL the products in the project (i.e. 2500 g, 100g, 0.5g...).
Sinisa is correct, it's best to keep 1 value.
