Email Form layout problem
Autor: Antal Z.Email Form layout problem
When you send edited form fields, the formatting of the rows and columns is lost.
The data set consists of 3 parts as articulated in the table.
'Cikkszám' - 'Megnevezés' - 'db'
website:
When sending an email, it stacks the values in one line when sending. Due to the rearrangement, the values are difficult to interpret.
Excel sorts the data horizontally when scanning. It is not possible to treat it as a table
For older versions, you sent the email by appearance. Thus, those who were in line when printing could be printed according to the form.
Can you suggest a solution to display the requested values properly?
Sample value:
'Cikkszám' - 'Megnevezés' - 'db'
'Cikkszám' - 'Megnevezés' - 'db'
'Cikkszám' - 'Megnevezés' - 'db'
'Cikkszám' - 'Megnevezés' - 'db'
'Cikkszám' - 'Megnevezés' - 'db'
'Cikkszám' - 'Megnevezés' - 'db'
Hello. I sent a notification about your question to the company employees, expect an answer from them here in the comments.
Hello Antal
Are you sure that in the previous versions, this wasn't the same? Do you have any example of an older email you received which was displayed in a different way? I've tested this with v2019 and it seems exactly the same to me.
That aside, what of the CSV that you can have sent to you? Is that file written in a more correct way or not?
Please let me know this here with some screenshots in order to understand if this was different before
Thank you
Stefano

HI Stefano G.
Thanks for looking up the email form
Unfortunately, I used to use this extension for about 3-4 years.
There, each response field was lined up separately.
One row = one field.
The email sent was thus correct.
It stacks the answers on one line even if there are several values to be entered. Then the extension works properly.
With which extension or solution could I format the obtained values so that the data or document sent resembles the data sheet?
Hello Antal
I am afraid that as of now, no option is available for such a feat. You would need to add an extensive amount of custom code into the export files so that when the email is generated, the data is already formatted in a specific manner. The Staff cannot offer support for this unfortunately. I'm sorry
If you wish to suggest an improvement for this, please do so in a new Idea topic
Let me know if I can be of help for anything else
Thank you
Stefano
