Look for iwprj2 files and set your project folder 1 folder higher then your project file.

you can do so in the startup screen use preferences.

then make a copy with export project. import that one on new pc.

I found iwprj2 but when i go to export it I does not show the whole folder is empty.

It has been a while since i took a backup, i had only saved my work. Does that mean i have lost all that i had done?

I don't think you have lost your projects all i think is that they are set to a wrong folder.

That's why you need to set the preference folder correct, if set correct you can open you projects again.

So set your preference folder 1 folder higher then the project file. leave the project files as they are don't mess with these files.

Just set the preference folder correct and then start up x5, then export your projects in step 5 with export project.

for instance:

my iwprj2 file is located here: c:\users\yourname\documents\incomedia\website x5 - professional\theprojectname\project.iwprj2

the preference folder in the startup screen / preferences should then be:

C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Professional\

The Bold letters are offcource for you different.

Goodlluck!
