Bug in the language choice object
Autor: Francois R.I have found a bug in the Language Choice object.
If you check https://www.nouvellegalerie.fr
In the header, there is a choice to display a localised version, which I created using the Language Choice object.
Normally, users can choose between FR (default) / EN / ES. Then the website would go to /en or /es.
In the English website, the choice should be EN / ES / FR, and ES / EN / FR when in the Spanish section.
In Preview mode, the selection works, all 3 flags are shown.
Once uploaded to the server, only 2 flags appear, the first two. This is the case with Edge, Firefox and Opera.
I have made sure that, when editing the header in Template mode, the object has been selected as 'Bring to front' to make sure it displays correctly over the rest of the page (several times to make sure).
The enclosed graphic shows the difference between Preview mode (3 flags) and page in Edge/Firefox/Opera (2 flags).
It seems that there is a bug somewhere.

The bug could be that the Object is not uploaded to server as 'brought to front', which would explain why it does not display beyond the header, whilst looking fine in Preview mode.
Hello Francois,
The source code actually looks correct... the link is there, the image is there.
I think you might need to enlarge the container which holds the Language Choice Object, in Step 2 Template Content.
Kind regards,
Paul

Yes! KolAsim, you are right! Thanks for pointing this out.

KolAsim,
Whilst in theory you are right, the popup language flag selection object does not work unless language number 1 is selected as the current language.
In other words, on the French site, I cannot simply use
Lang 1 EN
Lang 2 ES
with the path pointing to the English or Spanish site. If I do this and no 'current language' is selected, the popup does not display. It seems that the flag showing the current language has to be present.
No big deal.
... hello, ... OK, it will be as you say, unfortunately I cannot try... ciao
