Dashboard blank

I don't want to rely on a cell phone to access the dashboard, but rather want to login directly. However, when I login to the website control panel directly it is blank as shown in the screenshot:

In short, if you have not set up a database/configured various Objects within WebSite X5, then the dashboard will show up blank by default, as there is no information for it to display.
