I have downloaded and installed a font from Google Fonts. Works great on my PC and on my webpage through Website X5 (Evolution 12) and preview. Also works great on my browser.
However, if I go to another PC or Mac, the font is completely different.
How can I 'embed' the font so that I avoid this problem?
I am a beginner, so a simple 'step by step' process would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Alex, in the current versions it is too simple but back in V12 not so straight forward. On the Google Fonts page select your font, select this style and copy the @import code to embed the font in your website.
In WX5, step 4, expert tab, paste the code

Thank you for your prompt response but I'm afraid after following your instructions, it does not work. Not only that, I can see the code at the top of my page.
Can't see if I'm supposed to put this custom code under 'before closing the HEAD tag'? Also, in the Map Creation by selecting the properties on a page, it takes me to another expert tab with very similar features... am I supposed to do the same there or will the conflict?
Thank you.
Alex,
in v12 you can add webfonts in the preference window. (at startup)
I am not sure if you have done it this way, let us know.

Alex, my apologies. Do as Andre says, he is correct (as usual). Delete the code I wrongly told you to add.
