Sublevels on Hamburger menu evo 2021.1.4  en

Hi, I am working on importing my site from the 2016 version to EVO 2021.1.4.  My current issue is that the level (or sublevel) menus are showing underneath the menu button. There are so many levels that it looks difficult for the user to navigate.  On my Menu Object Level Menu, I have Menu Type to arrange in multiple columns opening to the left. I would prefer that the levels (or sublevels) open to the side of the main menu instead of beneath it.  Or if it is easier, that when a user clicks on a menu item they are taken to a new page that lists all the sublevels.  I have a snapshot below where I have clicked on "Exhibits and Events" and as you can see, there are many pages listed. How do I change this so it is not so difficult to navigate for the user?

Hello. You can try showing only part of the menu. You can try to create several menu objects and display different parts of the menu in different objects.

Thank you to everyone for your help and suggestions. I am restructuring my website to work with less sublevels, by creating just one page for each level which then has all the links to the other articles. It's time consuming, but is presenting a much cleaner look, so I am happy with it.   One final (hopefully) question.  I inserted the "Overlay" menu object in my header, but when I am in preview and scroll down, only the original hamburger icon appears, even though I "hid" it previously.  I have not checked "always show hamburger."  So not sure why it still appears, and not sure why the "overlay" hamburger doesn't follow down the page as I scroll.  Also tried to add the word "Menu" above the "overlay" hamburger, but that was just with a text box.  If there is a proper way to do it, I'm all ears!

Hello Charlene,

The use of the more menu's in the header can be done, but you need to use 1 at the time.

Set the main menu in the desktop header (or stickey bar) then decide until wich viewport you want to use it. If you don't want to use it for the last 2 viewports (i assume you have 4) then go to the viewport where you don't want it, the third in my example, then use button on top to show/hide use pulldown and select hide for this and subsequent viewports.
then add on the same viewport (the third one) add the overlay menu.

This way you have them both 1 for the first 2 viewport the other for the lower 2 viieports, or in another way if you prefer offcource.
