I will make an idea post from this thread, they updated the shop with a lot of fanfare, but not much has changed, things you can easily make a workaround for, true updates that bring the store to a truly good store are all in a lot of IDEA posts, let's hope Incomedia will continue to work on the store but  i am afraid after the work they recently did thet will focus on other things, hopefully it wll happen in the future.....

this one would also be nice and is carried by a lot of users...... so i had high hopes for the updated store.... unfortunatly these high hopes are gone.

Also good discounts are needed for the total sale.

After working with x5 for a year now, I see many questions regarding discounts then set to ideas.   Although X5 has all the bells & whistles to make fantastic websites... the shopping cart lacks the fundamental tools for shop owners to appeal to customers and that is discounts.

I realize that everyone has different needs but there should be ways to provide the following for the masses.

Discounts based on:

1) Total cart value:  > $  ... multiple levels

2) Product groups: owner decides which products to include in discount

3) Discount by City or Postal Code / Zip Code

4) Product Qty and Total Cart Qty

Coupons based on:

1) Total cart value

2) Product Qty and Total Cart Qty

3) Product (current)

Free Shipping & Flat Rate

1) Total cart value:  >= $  

2)  by City, Postal Code / Zip Code, province, state or territory, country

4) Product Qty and Total Cart Qty

I have to pay JotForms monthly so I could provide my customers proper cart outcomes :(

This should ether be incorporated in to the software or an option to buy plugin in market place.  Once you have the above implemented I do believe X5 with be #1
