Since upgrading to 2021.2.7 version of X5 Evo, I either get errors creating the upload folder, or for a number of files (not always the same ones) when uploading. (See screenshot)

I have already disabled antivirus and firewall. I don't use a VPN and my connections was already only set to 3.
Only some of the files failed to upload, and some were only 2k in size.
I had to connect to my hosting provider admin dashboard and upload the failed files directly to solve this.
It is also not limited to one website. ALL 4 of my websites (all hosted by GoDaddy) now have random failed file uploads, and even give errors creating upload folder, since the upgrade.
Hello. I sent a notification about your question to the company employees, expect an answer from them here in the comments.
Hello Laurence
I strongly believe this to be caused by some configuration in GoDaddy and not something specific to the update. Can you please try to create an empty folder on your hosting and upload the entire website in there? I believe it might be an issue with the software trying to replace some files and the hosting forbidding this
Try this out and let me know if the issue persists
Thank you

Hi,
I already checked all the folder permissions with GoDaddy.
Nothing has changed (I checked) since all 4 websites were successfully loading and replacing files before the upgrade.
If this was a GoDaddy configuration, why would I get an error in X5 Evo telling me it can't create the upload folder? At that point, GoDaddy's hosting had not even been involved.
I am able to carry out the same file replace/update process using FileZilla so this is not a GoDaddy issue, but an X5 issue.
Hello Laurence
It is very probably an issue with the hosting configuration alone because the software doesn't really perform many particular operations here. It simply takes care of uploading and replacing files and, if for any reason it is blocked either due to permission issues or a connection being cut, it cannot end the upload procedure.
This is probably very specific also due to the fact that such an issue doesn't seem to be affecting other users with different hostings
Would it be possible for you to try and create a subfolder on your hosting space and upload there? If you do it like this, without replacing older files, does it work?
Try it out and keep me posted here
Thank you
Stefano

Having re-installed x%, the issue seems to have gone away.
I now have a php issue with .php pages not being rendered but I suspect this is a hosting issue.
Does x5 use a specific version of php? I have v 7.x.x running on the hosting servers.
Thanks
L.
Hello Laurence
WebSite X5 requires PHP v7 or higher, and it should be fine
The most updated versions support PHP v8 too. Please let me know if you manage to fix this by yourself or contact me here if I may help you sort this out
Thank you

Hi Stefano,
I have had to resort to disabling the 'secure login' (Locked) setting of the page, so it is no longer a php page.
Hosting team say it is nothing to do with their servers.
I am kind of fed up of it being someobody else's problem, so am leaving the php off the site. I spent nearly 12 hours of my time (losing me 12 x my hourly rate of £300, some £3,600) getting nowhere, so I gave up.
No help requested, now.
Thanks
Laurence
