Hello,
If you are using the last Paypal platform, normally the credit option is available.
If no, check if your export is fully HTTPS.
Paypal does not works fine if no ...
Enjoy!

This is how it appears, everything looks fine except the option to tick the credit card payment, its already ticked and unclickable as you can seen from the pic i attached
Strange.
Does it not an issue with your Paypal account which does not accept Credit Card by example, and when your account is verified by Website this option is not clickable because the paypal reply said "no Credit Card to use"..
Wait other user to confirm this.
Enjoy!

Hello AJ
What country did you select when linking the Account?
Keep in mind that the possibility of having the fields directly on the website is not available for every country and this is so by PayPal's policy.
If you find yourself unable to edit the checkbox, it means that the country you selected currently doesn't allow this
In this case, there is unfortunately not much you can do unless PayPal decides to expand the range of countries that can get access to that

But my country supports standard paypal's credit card payments

Am now at my wit's end with this issue,i have tried everything i know
Hello AJ
I'm afraid that the screenshot you posted isn't the correct one. That screenshot indicates Payal's general availability, but not this service specifically.
This is the actual one:
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/advanced/#link-eligibility
All other countries won't be able to display the field as of now
For the moment, you will have to use the standard buttons available by default on your website

Hello Stefano,
This restriction is for the merchant AND buyer or just the merchant ?
Not really clear on Paypal link !
Enjoy!

Hello Stefano
By "you will have to use the standard buttons available by default on your website", which buttons are you refeering to?
Hello AJ
If your country is not among those where the credit card fields are supported, you will still get the PayPal button to allow your customers to pay.
All you're missing out on is the dedicated fields directly on your website. They PayPal button to pay via PayPal will still appear on your website
I hope I was helpful

Hello Stefano
This is what i get when i checkout and press the "buy now" button,i have no " PayPal button to pay via PayPal" at all.
Hello Aj
From your screenshot I can clearly see that you're not even getting the buttons to appear, but those should definitely appear
Can you please share the URL of your website with me here? I will attempt to perform a test order and pay via PayPal to see if I can spot any issue
Thank you

Hello Stefano
Here is a link to my website https://www.fatevision.shop.bw/
Hoping you do find what the problem might be because i tried everything i think i know to rectify this issue.
Thanks
Hello AJ
I've verified the website
It seems like your hosting's configuration is somehow blocking the website's request to connect to PayPal
You can see that issue 400 appears
This means that the procedure is blocked directly by your server. At this point, you can send this screenshot to the support of your hosting provider and have them check this for you. They should be able to find the fault on their side and fix it for you
I remain available here as soon as news on this becomes available
Thank you

Hi Stefano
I got in touch with my hosting provider and this is what they said from the screenshot i attached but am still experiencing the same problem, really frustrated now.Can you please do a site test to see if they have rectified the 400 problem or not,if possible?
Hello AJ
I can confirm that the issue is just the same
Please verify with them again. Unfortunately, for this kind of error, it is up to the hosting to fix it
There would be no way for us to intervene on this but to advise switching hosting space
Please try again to get in touch with them and keep me posted here
Thank you
Stefano

Hi Stefano
I forwarded your response to the host provider and their response is on the screenshot i attached.
Hello AJ
Thank you for your feedback
I am sorry to hear that your hosting responded like this. Unfortunately, I am afraid that there isn't much else that I can do to help you with this
The hosting must not block external connections to the PayPal system, or this simply won't work
At this point, the only advice I can give is to consider a different hosting provider or you won't be able to make use of this functionality
What hosting are you currently using?

Hello Stefano

I finally figure out what the problem is,when i price my products in Default currencies in the intergration setup steps, credit card option does appear,if i add my local currency which is BWP, credit card option doesnt appear which forcs me to price my products in US Dollar. Now thats a predicament,i cant US dollars for products am selling locally
Hello Aj
Thank you for your clarification. If this is the case this is unfortunately another limitation of PayPal's system. If the currency is not supported, it will not be possible to complete transactions with it. Using a supported currency would be mandatory
I remain available here in case you have any further questions
