Hi, I have just installed the "Catalog Viewer" object. I have set up a local PDF file in the object. But the object itself does not show up in preview nor does it show up online! Totally blank page! What would be the reason? I have tried refresh and clear browsing history as well, but no luck.
I am using Website X5 Pro Ver 2020.3.8. Thanks.

Hi Reju, how big is your pdf file? Please check, if it loads into a normal show box via a file link.

Hi Martin, 1 file is 16mb and other test file is 60kb. Yes, they both load into normal show box window via file link, without any problem. Thanks.
To be honest, I had the same problem with a 7mb size pdf book, which didn't worked smoothly in the object. Even if I changed it to a small test file, it didn't worked out on the same page again. I decide to use the show box for it and moved the catalog viewer object with smaller file to a different page. Yep it works.
It seems that there is a size limit and 16mb is not a small file . It needs to generate the mini pics on the fly etc and that is memory and time consuming too.

Ok. I have tested with many PDF files now. Even simple and small text files. Forget working smoothly, even the object is not seen in preview! Same with online. Nothing! I have tried reinstalling the object, but no use.
Yep, welcome in the club, sometimes it is esoteric. When I remember it right, I restart everything, open a new fresh template, dropped only the catog viewer object on a one pager and hit preview, to get a clue if it is working in principle. What should I say, suddenly it works also in the former template.

I tried with new template and it still doesnt show up even in the preview. For me it has not worked even once.
Hello Reju
Perhaps you can share with me here the link to one of the online pages where the PDF can be found? I would like to verify the Object online to see if there's any clear reason why the issue is appearing.
Please let me know if you can let me have here a URL to one of the broken pages to check
Thank you
