I use the program alternately in the office and at home. Suddenly the program cannot be opened on one of the computers without the messag:

"An error occured while loading the Project. (Access to the path'C:\Users\Lasse\Documents\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Pro\New Project 5\preview.jpg' is denied.)"

appears, what am I doing wrong?

How is the iwzip file (backup copy) transported or sent between the two computers? Or isn't an iwzip file used, but some other way of transporting or sending?

Maybe have it created again as an iwzip file on the computer on which it works ...

WebSite X5 > 5 Export > Export project

... and then work with this iwzip file on the other computer.

If necessary, consider reinstalling WebSite X5.

Lasse, if you are synchronising your project via the cloud, this is probably the cause. Use an iwzip File as indicated by Daniel, this will always work.

I have tried and the error persists even when I use Iwzip File. Could I possibly need to reinstall the program?

Hi there Lasse,

Reinstalling the app is pretty painless, and worth a shot. But personally, I would investigate the file/folder permissions via right-click > ‘properties’. Check that file(s)/folder has the correct owner and isn’t locked.

Another thing to try: run the app ‘as admin’ temporarily.

Please report the results here?

Good luck!

My advice above hinges on the presumption that your documents are not being stored on OneDrive (pushed by MS).
