Centre objects on page header

Hi there
I'm just using Website X5 for the first time, I'm in the process of creating a header section and have put a heading with a smaller subheading on it.
I'm now trying to find a quick way to center the text box containers on the header but cannot find a function that does this (seemingly simple) task.
Is it me, or does Website (Evo) version simply not have this basic function ?

If it's a text object, just select it and drag the left and right edges to the edge of the checkerboard pattern. Then click "Edit" and highlight the text in the text object, then click the center icon at the top.
If it is a title object, then also select it and drag the left and right edges to the edge of the checkerboard pattern. Then click on "Edit" and under "Alignment" select the setting "Centered".

You are correct, there is no "object centre" option in WX5, but you can easily center content for most objects by making the object full width of the header, and then center the content.
If objects overlay each other you have the ability to move them forward or back.
If you wish to place an object exactly you can do the math in arrange, but remember you will need to do it for every resolution (I find it easier to use a full width object because it is easily adjustable)
It should be noted that all 4 resolutions of the head area should be checked in the Evo version, as the smaller resolutions can overlap with other objects in the head area, depending on the text length and size, or the text can appear in the invisible area outside of the checkerboard pattern.
Sometimes you also have to make compromises here so that it looks good in all resolutions.

Thanks for all your answers everyone, it's a very helpful and responsive community.
I will use the full width and center the text (they don't overlap at least on a full width) I will then as suggested work my way down through the different screen sizes and makes sure they all work.
I take it that as i make a header for each selected resolution then that edit will stay with that resolution ?

be careful because if you leave the object area at full width and it overlaps a clickable object, the clickable object will not work...
so remember to put the full-width object not in the foreground, but to put it below the other objects
Yes, if you work on a lesser resolution you can change the object size and position and this will not affect higher resolutions.
