Templete Settings - export/import

Does the export/import only apply to the layout, or does it also save the template content?

If it saves the content then one could have different header content saved as versions, and just import back the one you want for different messages and content in the header/footer?

Hello. In the 2019 version, you could change the graphic design and layout without changing the content of the site (pages, blog, online store products, and so on).

It seems like nothing has changed since then. You can read more about this here.

Content you can copy object by object. Open two projects and copy from one to the other.

Thank you Aleksej,

As I read it, its just the template framwork, or layout that is saved.  It doesn't appear to save the current template content (Text, buttons, images...etc).

I'm looking for a way to save the content so that i can revert if I don't like the content changes I make, or if i want to rotate the content, etc....

You could make backup copies and add the date to the file name.

Yes, but if I then make changes to other areas, then i dont want to go backwards to previous version from a restore.

I just want to save the header/footer content and be able to swap for other header/footer objects - perhaps this is a new feature for X5 team to add....
