Contact form email is not sent

I'm having problems with the 'Contact Form' object.
The data is filled in correctly and after clicking on the 'Send' button the website goes to the main page (without any message, not even an error message) and no email is sent: neither to the recipient of the form nor even the confirmation email .
Any idea what could be happening?
Taking advantage: what are the minimum server configurations to host the website with sending the email via the contact form?

5 Export > Export the website to the Internet / Parameters

... enter the email address of the domain (see example below), as many web hosts do not allow other email addresses (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) to be sent.
Example:
Domain: mywebsite.com
Domain email adress: contact(at)mywebsite.com
